Please note: Pack all of your luggage – but only an overnight bag to take to Kangaroo Island; due to baggage restrictions on the return flight only 33lbs is allowed per person. All other luggage will be put into storage at the hotel.

Transfer via coach from your Adelaide Hotel to the Sealink Connection coach.

Transfer via the Sealink Connection coach to Cape Jervis

Depart Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island aboard the Sealink ferry.

Arrive on Kangaroo Island, where you will be met by your Australian Pacific Touring Guide.

You will have an introduction to Kangaroo Island before heading out in search of wildlife encounters. Your guide will help you spot kangaroos, koalas and echidnas in the wild.

A highlight today is a guided beach walk at Seal Bay, home to a colony of Australian sea lions. With your guide, you are able to stand remarkably close to these endangered creatures and watch them at play.

Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in a secluded bush location, followed by a bushwalk. There are over 250 species of birds on Kangaroo Island, making it a paradise for bird watchers. This afternoon, we explore the stunning North Coast.

This morning, discover the natural wonders of Flinders Chase National Park. See at close range the New Zealand fur seals that inhabit these waters and view the unique geological formation of Admirals Arch and the delicately balanced granite domes of the Remarkable Rocks. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a bush setting then tour the pristine wilderness by 4-wheel drive. Search for koalas in the wild and wander along secluded bush tracks and wilderness surrounds. As dusk approaches, kangaroos and other native animals move out into the open to graze.

Enjoy the spectacular views of the Adelaide Hills as you make your way to the German village of Hahndorf where you are welcomed by century old Cork Elms that line the main street.

Discover the quaint cafes and shops or take time to explore the museums and galleries. This afternoon enjoy a true German-style afternoon tea at the German Cake Shop followed by a visit to the Beerenberg Strawberry Farm to sample some of their delicious jams and sauces.

Today you will be greeted by your Australian Wild Escapes tour guide and travel from Adelaide to the Barossa Valley visiting some of Australia’s most famous wineries.

Morning tea will be at Lyndoch Bakery before arriving at St. Hallett Winery for tastings at 10:45am. After tasting we will make a short stop at Menglars Lookout before moving on to tastings at Yalumba Wines at 12:50pm.

At 1:00pm you will enjoy a wine tasting at Peter Lehmanns before lunch. The afternoon includes a tour and tastings at Langmil Wines and Tastings at Seppelts Wines.

Today you will drive from the Barossa Valley back to Adelaide, visiting more of Australia’s great Wineries.

The morning includes tasting’s at Grant Burge (10:15am) and Rockford Wines (11:10am).

Prior to lunch there will be another wine tasting at Turkey Flat Wines.

After a late lunch (2:00pm) at the Tanunda Hotel you will have tastings at Chateau Tanunda and before the touring is complete their will be a final wine tasting at Bethany Wines at 3:15pm.

         

After a short drive through Bethany Village you will depart back to Adelaide to arrive back at your accommodation.
